Mark Warshavsky Complete Recordings
Mark Warshavsky was one of the world’s greatest Yiddish songwriters and poets, most famous for his songs, Oyfn Pripetchik and Dem Milners Trern. However, the majority of his songs lie in obscurity without accessible recordings. In an upcoming project, the Yiddish Music Collective will raise funds to record the compete folk songs (about thirty) of Mark Warshavsky. ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Dr. David Asher Brown
David Asher Brown is a composer, conductor and speaker. His doctoral work was completed at the University of Southern California.
He has conducted opera and musical theater in Austira, France, and the United States. He also received a grant to compose in Prague, Czech Republic and research the lives and music of composers interned at the Theresienstadt concentration camp. His music can be found at www.DavidAsherBrown.com.
